Top Rumours around 'Anjaan'
Rumour #1 : "Suriya is doing dual roles as similar as he did in Perazhagan, Vel, Vaaranam Aayiram, Maattrraan"
Clarification : "Things are not official. Obviously, Director Lingusamy stated in an interview that Suriya is doing two roles. But he intended to mean that he is doing a single character with two different shades. This is what he is stating from the beginning of the shooting."
Rumour #2 : "Vidhyut Jamwal is doing a villain role in 'Anjaan'
Clarification : "Obviously No ! Vidhyut is doing an important role in the film. But he is not doing antagonist (villain) role for this film. The main antagonist of the film is not revealed yet. And other major Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai is also doing an important role in the film.
Rumour #3 : 'Sonakshi Sinha & Kareena Kapoor are doing item songs in the film
Clarification : "Sonakshi Sinha was earlier approached to do the item song in the film. But she is unable to allocate the dates for the film. She is being replaced by Chitrangada Singh. And, the team has not even thought of grabbing Kareena Kapoor towards the project."
Rumour #4 : 'Anjaan' is a high budgeted film as 7aam Arivu, Maattrraan & Singam II.
Clarification : "No, the film budget is only around 30 crores, where Singam 2 budget is 45 crores, Maattrraan budget is 60 crores and 7aam Arivu budget is 70 crores. And Suriya had specified in an interview that he wont be doing big budgeted movies for a while and he would like to do atleast 3 small budgeted films/year.
Since Suriya waited for around 6 months for Gauthom Menon's Project ('Dhruvanatchathiram'), Suriya would only be able to do a single project ('Anjaan') this year.
After 'Anjaan', he is expected to do a film with Venkat Prabhu (or) Hari. And it may have a release on Pongal 2015.
